Stuttgart – The weather in the southwest continues to be changeable at the beginning of the Easter holidays!

As reported by the German Weather Service (DWD) on Wednesday, after a spring-like warm and dry but overcast day and a mild night on Thursday, it will be more changeable again with showers and thunderstorms. The temperatures should remain mild at a maximum of 12 degrees in the higher mountain areas and 18 degrees in the lowlands.

For Friday – the last day of school in Baden-Württemberg – the DWD expects widespread rain. The temperatures should initially remain at a mild 12 to 16 degrees. Later, a fresh wind will pick up, which could turn into hurricane-like gusts in the Upper Black Forest.

At the start of the first holiday weekend, fresh Atlantic air is blowing over Baden-Württemberg and it’s getting a little cooler again.

Overall, at the beginning of the Easter holidays, “impetuous low-pressure weather” is to be expected, said a spokesman for the DWD.
