Bronx retail associations hire private security to combat shoplifting – CBS New York

Mayor Eric Adams says the NYPD will do more to crack down on shoplifting, which statistics show is at levels we haven’t seen in two decades. In the Bronx, it has forced several retail associations to hire private security patrols. CBS2’s Tony Aiello reports that includes the Fordham Road Business Improvement District.
