Tonight he is fighting for a European Cup. Maybe soon again for the German championship in football Bundesliga?

national player Thilo Kehrer (26) is with his team West Ham United in the Conference League final. Today he meets AC Fiorentina in Prague (9 p.m., NITRO and im BILD live ticker). As the first German player ever, he wants to lift the title in the air.

In the new episode of “Stammplatz”, the daily football podcast from BILD, the former Schalke player reveals that he can also imagine returning to the Bundesliga in the future.

Kehrer: “I do think about it from time to time. My family also lives in Germany. I’m 26 now and don’t want to rule that out. I’m in my first season at West Ham, but you never know what’s going to happen in the future.”

A German international back in the Bundesliga. That would certainly make many football fans in the country happy.

However, Kehrer himself considers a change this summer to be “very, very unlikely”.
