Did Ibrahim A. kill for terrorist reasons?: “I’m also an Anis Amri”

Hamburg – 12 days ago, train killer Ibrahim A. (33) ran amok, stabbed Bahn trainee Danny (19) and his girlfriend Ann-Marie (17) in the regional express “RE70” from Kiel to Hamburg and seriously injured seven other victims. Just six days after he was released from custody in Billwerder. It was quickly said that the stateless Palestinian was probably a confused individual perpetrator.

︎ BILD now has the arrest report, which documents the incredible failure of the authorities. And suggests a terrible suspicion: Did Ibrahim kill A. DOCH for terrorist motives? Above all, a file note makes the blood run cold.

Saturday, August 6, 2022: On the way to the yard, the so-called free hour, Ibrahim A. hisses at an employee: “Big car, Berlin, that’s the truth!” Tires?

It is immediately clear to the sergeant: Prisoner A. refers to the 2016 terrorist attack on Berlin’s Breitscheidplatz, when the assassin Anis Amri (†2016) rolled over and murdered 13 people with a truck.

When the locksmiths want to close the door, Ibrahim A. turns to them again and says: “There is not just one Anis Amri, there are several: I am one too!”

▶︎ A clear terror threat – nevertheless, Ibrahim A. was simply released later!

When asked by BILD, the judicial authority confirmed the statements. And admits inexcusable omissions: “The statements were not reported to the supervisory department of the Authority for Justice and Consumer Protection as an extraordinary occurrence; it first became known during the evaluation of the documents after the crime of January 25, 2003. The Billwerder prison also saw no reason for information from the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution.”

In plain language: Although Ibrahim A. fantasized about the terrorist attack in Berlin, the prison management did not consider it necessary to report it!

The judiciary also admits: “During his pre-trial detention, Ibrahim A. was repeatedly noticed as verbally aggressive and inappropriate and tried to reinforce his demands with insults. Apart from the incident of August 6, 2022, however, no statements have been documented that could suggest an extremist connection.” His other prison behavior was also unremarkable.

Unobtrusive? The detention file proves something completely different. The truth: Ibrahim A’s imprisonment was 12 months full of hate, chaos and baseness!

► Already on the 2nd day of his custody, A. ends up in a special cell. Reason: He screams loudly and for hours, keeps pressing the emergency call button.

A little later he aggressively demands to be allowed to change the cell – because he “doesn’t like it”.

► In the spring, the prisoner suddenly seems “confused” and complains of depression.

► Ibrahim A. gets the heroin substitute methadone, he also applies for drug therapy.

► For months, the 33-year-old stands out because he riots at night, hits chairs against the ceiling, bends window grilles, scratches the wall, crackles. He became a topic of conversation in the detention center, and complaints from fellow inmates rained down. Time and time again, judicial sergeants have to bring the raging man to his senses. An officer said: “He was talking loudly to himself, which he broadcast to the whole station. Laughing, clapping, stomping, yelling.”

In the summer, Ibrahim A. fights with another knacki. The officer: “A. was a very tiring inmate, very unapologetic. A constant source of unrest that antagonized other inmates.”

► Starting in the fall, the rioting will get worse and worse: Ibrahim A. makes noise with everything he can find. It culminates in the fact that sergeants have to take everything away from him, even the spoon, mug and teapot. In some cases, the current in the cell is switched off.

In September he attacks an officer and has to be overpowered. The prisoner is taken to the “BGH”, the specially secured cell.

► A. increases his aggression, becomes more and more recalcitrant: sometimes he refuses to take a shower or to eat, then he throws his methadone away.

► At Christmas he insults officials: “I f… your mother” and spits around.

Despite these incidents, no one saw any indication that the perpetrator was extremist. Probably a fatal mistake!
