Dominic Raab used the wrong name to pay tribute to Paul O’Grady during PMQs, mistakenly calling the late TV icon “Paul Grayson” instead.

A number of MPs shared kind words about O’Grady in the House of Commons after his “unexpected” death aged 67 was announced on Wednesday 29 March.

“Paul Grayson was an incredible comic, but he also…” Mr Raab said, confusing his name, before eventually correcting himself.

He went on to suggest the late comic’s alter-ego, Lily Savage, “broke glass ceilings and boundaries”.
