Love Island made its much-anticipated return for episode two on Tuesday, and already this summer series has staggered fans with twists and turns galore.
The arrival of hunky bombshell Zachariah set the stage for a brutal recoupling, as he tore one pair apart by stealing a girl for himself, and leaving another boy at risk of an early dumping.
And despite it being just hours into the new series, fans were stunned by the early return of a racy challenge, setting the stage for more tension and drama.
Others were quick to note one girl is keen to emulate the success of runner-up Molly-Mae Hague, by bringing along her own cuddly companion this series,

They were later shocked to discover that London PT Zachariah and Jack actually know each other, after their friendship was confirmed by a social media snap.
Many shared their thoughts on Twitter, sharing snaps of the two reality stars side-by-side, alongside captions such as: ‘Jack Fowler walked so Zachariah could run.’
Some viewers crowned Zachariah ‘Jack Fowler 2.0’ as they compared the two, even before discovering that they know each other on the outside world.

Jack, who appeared on series four of the show, isn’t Zachariah’s only showbiz connection, as his half-sister is BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy.

Love Island is known for it’s common phrases and in recent series, the Islanders have been telling their romantic partners that they are ‘gravitating’ towards them.
But rather than gravitating towards Molly, George slipped up and accidentally told her that he was ‘levitating’ towards her.
While Molly didn’t appear to notice the blunder, the same couldn’t be said for viewers at home who found the exchange hilarious.

The choice means André is now single, leaving him at serious risk of being dumped from the villa.
Speaking at the end of Tuesday’s episode, he said: ‘The reason that I want to couple up with this individual is that the conversations we’ve had have been very easy and it all felt very natural.
‘She is also a very beautiful person. The girl I’d like to couple up with is Catherine.’
Following Zachariah’s announcement, Catherine jumped up from her place at the fire pit and the pair embraced.
