‘Rust’ settlement approved in wrongful death lawsuit against Alec Baldwin
A settlement has been approved in a wrongful death lawsuit after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot on the “Rust” movie set when a gun Alec Baldwin was holding fired on-set in October 2021.
Alec Baldwin will resume filming “Rust” in the spring in Montana at Yellowstone Filming Ranch. (Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department)
The order was entered on Thursday and doesn’t list details about the settlement.
