SEK mission in Trostberg: man arrested with a firearm

According to the police, he showed his neighbor a firearm during an argument. Nobody was injured during the operation.

The man posed no danger to bystanders, it was said. The SEK was still used to protect the police officers. The reason for the dispute between the neighbors on Saturday afternoon is still unclear. The neighbor herself called the police after seeing the gun.

According to the information, the 60-year-old did not resist the arrest. Around 40 officers were deployed. The police then took him to a specialist clinic. He was in a mental state of emergency.

The police are now checking whether the man has committed a criminal offense for threats.
