Stuttgart – Did it buzz in the trunk?
A man (57) smuggled more than 400 kilos of honey in a coach from Turkey to Stuttgart.
► The 57-year-old transported the honey in canisters and honeycombs, as the main customs office announced on Friday. He was able to present an invoice and documents for customs and the veterinary office for the sweet freight during the inspection at the bus station.
The customs officials seized the honey worth around 2,500 euros at the end of October. It was unclear whether the goods had to be destroyed.
