Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP has solid form and makes handicap debut off tempting mark at Haydock

AMERICAN FLAG (5.15 Haydock, NAP)

The beautifully-bred three-year-old has chased home some high-class horses in three maiden runs, including a now 107-rated colt.

He has been gelded since his last outing and makes his handicap debut off a very tempting mark of 80 against a field of mainly exposed runners.

TARRABB (6.15 Haydock, nb)

She was never stronger than at the finish over 7f at Ascot last time and the step up to a mile this evening looks a no-brainer.

She has only had four starts and is bred to improve with age, so there should be more to come.

KIMNGRACE (3.45 Haydock, treble)

Well worth another chance after an unlucky run at Goodwood. He is now eased in class, with the talented claimer Deon Le Roux taking off a handy 5lb.

Richard Hughes’ speedster is pretty versatile, so the drop back to five furlongs is no issue.
