He hit the crossbar at Newmarket last time when 7f may have just stretched him. He drops back a furlong here and William Buick takes over in the saddle.

PILLAR OF HOPE (4.00 Redcar, nb) 

He did well to win over a mile at Beverley as this longer trip suits him better. A 2lb rise for that is more than fair.

RED FORCE ONE (4.55 Huntingdon, treble) 

He ran his best race for a long time when second here six days ago. He has slipped right down the weights and can go one better under a capable 5lb claimer.
