Jose Mourinho’s masterclass helped a Betfair punter turn a fiver into over £20k

BETFAIR paid out £20,811.96 to one plucky punter after a nine-fold accumulator was paid out following a 94th-minute goal.

The bettor placed £5.25 on the speculative acca and would have been jumping for joy following Felix Afena-Gyan’s late brace for Roma.

Jose Mourinho subbed the 18-year-old onto the field in the 74th minute and the Ghanian scored in the 82nd and 94th minute in a 2-0 win over Genoa.

Afena-Gyan became the first player born in 2003 to score a goal in Serie A.

And the punter needed Roma to win with a -1 handicap, meaning the last-gasp goal proved to the decisive goal across the nine games.

Seven of the nine selections involved handicaps, as the Man City and Ajax both cruised to victories.

City beat Everton 3-0 while Ajax thumped RKC Waalwijk 5-0.

While the other two picks required a winner and over 1.5 goals as Bodo Glimt and Molde won 2-0 and 4-1 respectively.
