LEBRON James has thrown cold water on the idea of teaming up with Kyrie Irving.

The 38-year-old was asked his thoughts on potentially reuniting with Irving on the Dallas Mavericks, and the King delivered a stone-cold response.

Reports surfaced Monday, showing Irving has been attempting to lure James to join him in Dallas.

According to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Irving called James, spoke over the phone, and asked him to come to Dallas.

James reportedly responded and said he needed time to consider: “I’ll think about it.”

This report is a surprise since Irving has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers’ off-season plans for most of the year.

He will become a free agent this summer, and many have rumored that he wants to play with James again.

The two formed a dynamic duo in 2016, winning a NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

They played three seasons together before Irving requested a trade out of Cleveland — something Irving’s on record saying he regrets.

However, it will be challenging if Irving wants to play with James again.

James still has one year remaining on his contract with the Lakers before his player option kicks into 2024-25.

He’s fresh off leading Los Angeles to the Western Conference Finals before getting swept by the Denver Nuggets.

After the loss, James hinted at the idea of retirement, but with the reports Irving is recruiting him, it’s doubtful he walk away from the game.

The Lakers tried to trade for Irving last offseason while he was a member of the Brooklyn Nets and again at this season’s trade deadline.
