CRISTIANO RONALDO shared his happiness on social media after scoring a first goal for new club Al-Nassr.

The former Man Utd and Real Madrid star, 37, joined the Saudi Arabian side in a staggering £173million-a-year deal back in December.

Ronaldo was seen taking the ball from team-mate Talisca before the penalty

He failed to hit the back of the net in either of his first two appearances against Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad.

But on Friday night he got off the mark with a stoppage-time penalty as Al-Nassr drew 2-2 with Al Fateh.

Before the spot kick, Ronaldo was seen taking the ball from Saudi Pro League top scorer Talisca as the Brazilian prepared to put the ball down on the spot.

But he refrained from his usual “Siu” celebration, instead grabbing the ball and heading for the centre circle in search of a winner.

After the game, Ronaldo then allowed himself to enjoy his first goal for the club.

Speaking on Instagram, he said: “Happy to have scored my first goal in the Saudi league and great effort by whole team to achieve an important draw in a very difficult match! 💪🏼💛💙”.

Ronaldo’s three appearances for Al-Nassr have resulted in a win, a loss and a draw.

They still sit top of the Saudi Pro League table on goal difference and have a game in hand on second place Al-Shabab.

But they will be without top scorer Talisca for the clash with Al-Wehda on Thursday after he was sent off in the final moments of the draw with Al Fateh.

The 29-year-old was initially shown a yellow card for a poor challenge, but that was then upgraded to red following a VAR review.
