Cadillac recently unveiled two special editions, the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre, and the CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud, in honor of the ongoing 24 Hours of Le Mans race. These limited-edition vehicles pay tribute to Cadillac’s racing heritage and the iconic race itself through unique design elements, new color schemes, and limited badging. The CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre draws inspiration from the 1950 Cadillac race car of the same nickname and commemorates the 101st running of Le Mans. It sports a striking Magnus Metal Frost exterior with Stormhawk Blue carbon fiber accents, along with blue accents and a heritage number “2” etched into the seatbacks.
Inside, custom sill plates featuring the same heritage number design and the phrases “Le Monstre” and “75 Years” add a special touch. Powering the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers an impressive 668 horsepower. The CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud, on the other hand, pays homage to Cadillac’s 1950 Le Mans debut and takes its name from the Series 61 race car with the same moniker. It shares the same Magnus Metal Frost paint and Stormhawk Blue carbon fiber accents as the larger CT5-V, but features a heritage number “3” and a black leather interior. The CT4-V Blackwing is equipped with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 472 hp.
Both the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre and CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud will be produced in limited numbers to emphasize their exclusivity. Only 101 units of the CT5-V and 50 units of the CT4-V will be available. While Cadillac has not disclosed the pricing for these special editions, the standard CT5-V Blackwing is priced at around $95,000 for the 2025 model year, and the CT4-V Blackwing starts at $63,590. These special trims are sure to appeal to enthusiasts and collectors looking to own a piece of Cadillac’s racing history and the prestigious Le Mans race. With their unique design elements, custom features, and limited availability, the CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre and CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud are bound to turn heads on the road and track alike.
