Harry Jowsey from Too Hot to Handle describes Skin Cancer as a ‘Rude Awakening’
Harry Jowsey, a former contestant on the reality show “Too Hot to Handle,” recently revealed his skin cancer diagnosis, prompting him to raise awareness about the importance of getting regular skin checks. The 26-year-old shared his health status at the Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles, where he emphasized the need for sun protection and early detection of skin cancer. Jowsey’s message resonated with his followers, leading many to schedule their own skin checks after hearing about his diagnosis.
In April, Jowsey disclosed that he had visited a dermatologist for a routine skin check and was diagnosed with skin cancer on his shoulder. He described the experience as a wake-up call, noting that the cancer had gone undetected for over a year. Despite the initial shock and fear, Jowsey remains optimistic about his prognosis and encourages others to prioritize their skin health by wearing sunscreen and scheduling regular check-ups.
In addition to raising awareness about skin cancer, Jowsey is focusing on his personal relationships and future goals. The reality star recently launched a podcast called “Boyfriend Material,” where he shares relationship advice and reflects on his desire to settle down and start a family. Jowsey admits that while he values his friendships, he is eager to find a romantic partner with whom he can build a future and grow old together.
The support and well-wishes from Jowsey’s followers and fellow celebrities have been a source of comfort and encouragement during his health journey. Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who also battled skin cancer in the past, reached out to Jowsey to offer her support and solidarity. Jowsey expressed his gratitude for Madix’s kindness and noted the importance of having a strong support system during challenging times.
As Jowsey continues to navigate his health and personal goals, he remains committed to spreading awareness about skin cancer prevention and the importance of early detection. By sharing his own story and advocating for regular skin checks, Jowsey hopes to inspire others to prioritize their skin health and take proactive steps to reduce their risk of skin cancer. With his positive attitude and determination, Jowsey is determined to overcome his diagnosis and embrace a brighter, healthier future.
