Amazon kicks off its fall hardware event at 12 p.m. ET where it will announce its latest gadgets. The company typically announces updates to its Echo devices, Fire TV, Halo health devices and Ring products during its September press conference.

The event comes ahead of the busy holiday shopping season and ahead of the company’s second Prime Day, known as the Prime Early Access Sale, which will take place on Oct. 11 and 12.

At last year’s fall product keynote, Amazon debuted Astro, a home robot capable of transporting things from room to room, playing music, video chatting and home security. Other announcements included the Glow teleconferencing device for kids, the Echo Show 15, which is a big Amazon Echo Show you can hang on the wall, and a new Halo View fitness tracker.

The event isn’t being streamed publicly, so we’ll cover all the big announcements on this live blog.
